Tool-waveguides for ultrasonic angioplasty
- the length of waveguide – up to 1200 mm;
- the minimal diameter of distal (working) part – 0,5 mm;
- the average size of fragments of destruction of a blood clot - no more than 2 µ;
- operating frequency – 22…28 kHz.
Formation of faired interception between steps of waveguides allows to minimize acoustic losses in transferring of ultrasonic vibrations to the blood clot location.
Due to flexibility of developed waveguides ultrasonic destruction of blood clots in complex shape arteries is possible.
The registration certificate of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus on application of wave guides in a medical practice is received.
